Venus Goddess of Love Drawing

This is a sketch of Venus the Goddess of Love my 11-year-old daughter did. I like the heart-print halter top. What do you think?

Charity Sweater

This is the start of a charity sweater I'm making using this pattern. I'm aiming at making it a size 16/18 for older kids or plus-sized kids who might need sweaters and also at making its appearance less boxy than the one in the pattern photograph. It does have a nice texture that I'm loving. Has anyone out there knitted or crocheted sweaters for the worldvision knit for kids program? If so, I'd love to hear about your experiences...especially about any adjustments you made to the pattern. They want all the sweaters to look about the same but I hate the thought of a kid looking ridiculous in an unflattering garment. Any thoughts?

Mermaid Drawing

These are pics of my daughter's mermaid drawing. She's 11 and she's getting into drawing mermaids and mythological creatures. She said she might want to illustrate history books one day. That's her version of a catfish in the lower right-hand corner.

Cardboard Tube Monster

Today we have a bright little cardboard tube monster, made by painting a toilet tissue roll tube neon pink, glueing on a pair of wiggle eyes, a pompom nose, round beads for a mouth and chenille stems for hair. What do you think of my monster...scary...or cute?

Journal

This is a journal made from the Here & Now line of products. What do you think I should use this journal for? Any ideas?

Paper Bag Pig Puppet

This is a pig puppet I made out of a paper bag. I simply cut the snout, ears, arms, legs and tail from pink construction paper and glued them on a lunch bag...followed by a pair of flirty wiggle eyes. Should I make some more puppets? What do you think?

American Girl Doll Hat

I'm trying to crochet clothes for all of my daughter's dolls and stuffed animals. I designed and crocheted this hat for Lanie, her American Girl doll. I think it needs a flower on the front. What do you think?
